Summary: most fun I had at the movies n god knows how long honestly the hands down funniest movie all year almost got chocked on my snacks had to hold them till after the movie took my aunt to see it the next day and she laughed long and hard and enjoyed it even more a second time Sandra bullock and McCarthy are the best pair since will smith and martin lawurance in bad boys I strongly suggest you see it s let my 69 year old grandma watch it she loved it as well so it kinda...
Excerpt: The movie has its funny moments but too often just descends into absurdity. I have no problem suspending disbelief but there are limits and they are crossed here all too frequently. At times I found myself thinking it was trying to compete with Hangover 3; not such a great choice. So mostly the writing is at fault but there are times when the actors seem to be adrift. No doubt Sandra has done many better jobs.
Summary: Hilarious, I really hope we see more of McCarthy/Bullock, their dynamic is really good. Their a great duo, reminds me a little of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in The Other Guys. If you liked that movie you will like this as well.
Summary: If you stripped away the comedy, this film would be a completely predictable/forgettable fare. Thankfully, 'The Heat' delivers the laughs. McCarthy is a walking one-liner and Bullock's quirky persona provides a great counterpoint. The two of them share some truly funny scenes together. The crime plot is not the most understandable, but it becomes inconsequential amidst the hilarious nonsense.
