Excerpt: This modern retelling of the famed Vincent Price classic 'The Fly' brings Jeff Goldblum and Genia Davis into the man who mutates into a fly arena. The story is very basic but works on all levels of sincerity, slight humor and gross out moments.
love the movie, and brilliant video compared to when its on sky tv.

Excerpt: the movie is a classis, scientist transports himself from one place to another but get geneticaly fused with a fly and then he starts turning into brundle fly the video is great considering how old it is, some scenes look great and some scenes look there age.
Excerpt: Up to the middle of last year, I purposely stayed away from anything Blu-Ray, just figured it was just another pointless Mumble Jumble media HD disc. Well, a friend loaned me this remake on Blu-Ray and now I am forever a fan of HD.
Excerpt: David cronenberg's 1986 remake might not look as great as say Avatar (but that goes without saying) It might not have booming dolby sound but the movie still looks clean, sharp and 15 years younger by stepping over to the Blu side...
Excerpt: I got this blu this week as a bargain , the movie is amazing! for been a 1986 movie , the blu looks a little bit grainy I guess but is good , the best of this blu must be the sound! for been an oldie the sound rocked my home theater! awesome movie and recommend it!
Excerpt: If this is what is possible with only $15 million, then morons like Michael Bay need to be thrown to the gutter! This still stands up extremely well today in just about every respect! I remembered seeing some of this a long time ago on TV and thought I'd check out the blu-ray...
Excerpt: This if my favortie Cronenberg film along with "The Dead Zone". He's always been an interesting director. I think he does a really good job with "The Fly". This is clearly a low budget film but you wouldn't notice because the special effects still hold up very well after 23 years.
Excerpt: When I saw this long time ago on DVD, I thought it was gross and scary. But now I feel sad after watching. The very last scene where the fly asked to kill himself, is memorable. I enjoyed this great film except some skin scenes, which I thought were too much for a sci-fi.
