Summary: If your going to call 9/11 make sure that Halle berry his not on the phone she will get you killed. The film is about awoman working as an emergency operator must confront a killer from her past in order to save the life of a young girl in the present. This movie was a good thriller movie until the ending, I mean the ending was terrible but the movie itself is well done.
Excerpt: Halle Berry plays a 911 operator who gets a call from a sixteen year old kidnapped girl (Abigail Breslin) who’s being held in the trunk of a car. Apparently this psycho killer Michael kidnaps girls who remind him of his departed sister. His latest kidnap victim is Casey but what the killer doesn’t realize is that Jordon was in a similar situation before and this time around she will not let the killer get the better of her.
Summary: The Call is a solidly entertaining film with a strong performance by Halle Berry and slick direction by Brad Anderson - up until the moronic ending. It's a break-neck action film with lots of crackling suspense and a pretty scary bad guy, but the film's dumbass climax kind of ruins it. It's worth renting.
Excerpt: Well i will start this review by saying it's about damn time WWE Studios!!! Being a fan of the wrestling going;s on of the WWE since '85 or so, I as more than skeptical when I heard they were going to branch out their entertainment aspect of the business and start making movies. Being an avid movie buff, I was thinking to myself what the heck? If they have some good films I will be getting the best of both of my fave worlds..
