A world without Spider-man?!
23 March 2015
Excerpt: It has been turbulent time for Spider-man on the big screen. Before, we got two great movies to start of the franchise on a high note, the third film would then be so highly anticipated, especially by me back in 2007 (I was 13 years old at the time) but I even liked it a lot when it first came out...
Excerpt: Now this is a bargain, got it for R75 which is a steal for any movie mastered in 4K. This Blu-ray does not disappoint at all, visuals are vivid and bright with no grain at all, the extras are over 1h30 min long and do go well into depth explaingin the production, even explaining why they went with...
Excerpt: What happened? This movie could have been great but they made the classic mistake the first Spider Man trilogy made, they turned this to a love story. The back story involving his parents and a conspiracy involving their deaths was so juicy but they switched courses.
Excerpt: If you remember the part in the trailer where Rhino is charging Spider-Man and he swings that manhole covering at Rhino? That's the closing shot! I shit you not! The Amazing Spider-Man 2 continues the current trend in comic book movies concerning world-building, Easter eggs.
Excerpt: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 while pouring out the visual special effects eye candy lacks any real depth of dramatic effect even though Peter Parker struggles with emotional attachments to Gwen and his Aunt May.
Excerpt: Synopsis: As Spider-Man battles a host of new villains (Electro, Green Goblin and Rhino), Peter Parker wrestles with inner demons surrounding the loss of his parents and fights for Gwen Stacy's love.
Excerpt: I didn't like this movie.I loved the first one, but this one dragged on and on and was really silly. villains were bad,and I couldn't get into it at all. only saving grace was the picture quality
Summary: Too long, too boring, too bad. Mumbling through flirty banter with your girlfriend isn't compelling viewing for anyone. Since when was Peter Parker a moody one minute, happy as larry the next teenager floating through life.
Excerpt: I was pretty ticked off at the first Amazing Spider-man movie for recycling most of the plot from Sam Raimi’s first Spider-Man, but That movie's great in comparison to its sequel. I should have been thankful for what I had. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a bad movie.
