Excerpt: Michael J Fox will always be associated with the 80's for three reasons. He starred on a hit television series Family Ties, he wowed audiences in Back to the Future and then we have this cheeze fest called Teen Wolf. Watching this movie again brings back many memories of my youth and watching this flick on cable TV everytime it was aired. The cardboard acting of most of the cast, with exception to Fox and James Hampton who plays Mr.

Excerpt: Its an MGM catalog release..and like their other titles, they spent no time or money improving the video quality of this one either..Dust speckles and print damage ( I assume that's what the black pops are) and thin hairs, white and black pops all through the movie...So much that's its very distracting to watch. My guess is MGM is struggling and hoping people will buy all these crappy releases to help their sales.
Summary: Is this possibly the corniest movie ever made about werewolves? (Well, besides the sequel of course) Survey says: Most Likely! This isn't 80s cheese, it's 80s cheese whiz - but damned if I can't say I used to love watching it.
Conclusion: What a classic film, still enjoy it to this day. The PQ on the disc is ok actually and not quite as bad as some reviews have said. No it's not top notch, but it is a massive improvement over the DVD. The transfer on Blu-Ray retains a fine layer of grain which is good because it brings out the detail quite nicely.
Conclusion: Teenwolf is one of those films that I loved while growing up, so when I saw it available for pre-order it was a film I just had to get. It had been a good few years since I last watched it and upon watching it again I still really enjoyed it. The story is good and well scripted and Michael J. Fox acts the lead role out very well. Time perhaps hasn't been as kind to Teenwolf as it has say the Goonies or Labyrinth but it was still very enjoyable.
Conclusion: Teen Wolf, an 80's teen movie masterpiece, I wish I could say it was Fox's best movie, I so want to, but unfortunately will forever remain his second best achievement as over shadowed by that little time travel movie he did. This movie is well acted, well written, if a little cliched and cheesy but very easy watching, entertaining as hell with a pitch perfect 80s sound track and Fox on truly great form.
