Excerpt: Taking Lives is a serial murder thriller set and filmed primarily in Quebec Canada starring Angeina Jolie and Ethan Hawke. I guess this is one of those movies the critics and a lot of people don't think much of, but I think it is a well made movie for the thriller genre.
Excerpt: This was also a blind buy at the right price. I to enjoyed this film. I thought it was different in terms of this type of film. The reviewer mentioned ''Seven''.Not many movies in modern time comes close to that one. I thought this story was different. I liked the supporting cast.
Summary: This movie started out being really intriguing. I loved the beginning as well as Angelina Jolie lying in the grave. But they never developed that character, and all of sudden the story just starts adding all these different plot elements, mushrooming out into a big patchwork with only the barest...
Summary: This was a so-so serial killer movie with good and bad marks. The good marks were mainly for keeping the viewer's interest. You don't fall asleep watching this film. Angeline Jolie looks as good as I've ever seen her, facially and figure-wise.
Summary: There are a lot of these crime thrillers about. Some, such as Copycat and Insomnia, offer a surprisingly good time; but more often than not, these films are a lot more like Murder by Numbers and The Bone Collector, and unfortunately; Taking Lives is like the latter.
