Summary: I found this to be a very entertaining movie and absolutely loved it. It was a brilliant idea to make this a sort of sequel to the original Superman and Superman II. I must of seen it in theatres over 10 times and own 5 different versions of this movie from DVD, Blu-ray, box set and collector sets.
Pros: Engaging Characters, Entertaining, Excellent Special Effects, Great Cinematography
Excerpt: Finally had time to add this movie to my collection. Video was good, I don't know why many people are hating on it. Yes, some scenes appear dull, but most of the scenes look great. Audio was phenomenal. For the extras, it says on the case they are in 1080p but they look like 480p.
Excerpt: A highly romanticised version of the Superman mythos, and a continuation of the first two originał Reeve films. Singer adheres to a lot of elements from these films, perhaps a little too much as he attempts to continue a story over 25 years old.
Summary: Could not believe the religious imagery and inclusion in this movie! It is very spiritual and religious to me and I cherish this movie as one of my favorites. Very entertaining, very religiously symbolic, as a LDS Christian, even temple symbolism that is shocking in here!
Pros: Entertaining, Great Cinematography, Religion
Summary: there is nothing great about this film. Routh was too small to be superman. there wasn't one bit of originality in this film since they were trying to resurrect Reeves from the dead as opposed to reviving superman into another film.
Pros: There Was No Pros To This
Cons: Disappointing, Poor Plot Development, Sad To See Kevin Frank, Unoriginal
Excerpt: Lois Lane in peril! Oh, no...but wait! Superman appears at the last minute and saves her! But dastardly Lex Luther plots an evil scheme...superman blows out some fires and flies around catching falling signs/foiling bank robberys. But wait! Lex has kryptonite and defeats Supes.
