Excerpt: Somewhere between Killer Klowns from Outer Space and Evil Dead II lies the birth of true horror comedy black as pitch, and Stitches proudly carries the wacky torch in oversized shoes and pancake make-up. It's full of clown humor, gore, and even a healthy dose of gratuitous nudity. This import from Ireland will have you laughing until you gag.
Summary: Stitches is a lot of fun. The humor works, the gore is splattery and gooey and the performances are decent. It might not win any awards for originality but the fact that it plays things for laughs more than it does scares means it doesn’t really need to. Dark Sky Films’ Blu-ray looks and sounds good and contains some decent extras too.

It's the kind of film you just can't help yourself from being attracted to once you've read its synopsis, or seen the poster or cover box. Sadly, there's just nothing in the actual movie that's worth recommending. It's a joke, clearly; it's just not very funny.
