Summary: The story is about two men who have a lot of growing up to do. After being spoon fed their whole lives, their single parents meet, date, and later get married. This forces the two brothers to move in with each other. With little intelligence and a lot of competitiveness they both try to out do each other. That is, until one day they realize that they're best friends. This movie has so stupid scenes and also some funny scenes.
Summary: "Step Brothers" tells the story of two 40-year-old men who still live with their parents, acting like young children, due to the fact that they have been spoon-fed their entire lives. Richard Jenkins is by far one of the best actors I've seen to date, especially in a comedy. The acting all-around was better than most comedies, though I will say sometimes it became a little over-the-top, matching the premise and theme.
Didn't like it at first, but each time I've watched it it's really grown on me

Summary: Personally, I think Talladega Nights is the funniest movie Will Ferrell has ever done so pretty much everything since then has been a slight disappointment (Blades Of Glory, Semi-Pro) and honestly, the first time I watched Stepbrothers I was a little disappointed. But a few months later I popped it in and watched it again and for some reason it was just really funny to me the second time around. It completely grew on me.
Summary: Has some funny moments, but even though I like both Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly they play such unlikable characters here that I just couldn't get too into it because it was so off-putting. Maybe it's time to give it a rest, boys.
Yes, it is very stupid and yet I am ashamed to admit I enjoyed it.

Summary: Okay, I must admit that this movie was incredibly stupid, offensive and awful...but somehow I still laughed and enjoyed myself. Maybe it was because the film had no pretenses--it never even tried to be deep or intelligent--just appeal to our baser instincts. The reason I watched this film is because I loved TALLADEGA NIGHTS so much. Another Will Farrell/John C. Reilly film sure sounded great--even if it didn't match the quality or laughs of this earlier film.
Summary: Step Brothers is a comedy, if you can even call it that, that completely misses every chance at something good. Bad Direction, Bad Screenplay, Bad Story and Obnoxious(!) Characters. The film is occasionally funny only because of Ferrell, who, although good here, seems to be losing his appeal. The films major problem is the lack of chemistry between Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly (who should not do comedies). This movie is a misfire from the start and never recovers.
Summary: I loved loved loved the movie and even named my running team 'Boats n Hoes.' Got a lot of attention with the awesome shirts I found on Cafepress. Make sure you buy the best looking one which has two really sexy looking hoes on top of a yacht cuz it looks way more like what they would design for the movie. All the other shirts are kinda retarded looking.
