Any self-respecting Star Wars fan should own the Blu-Ray editions.

Summary: The Star Wars saga is one of the best series of six films ever to be created. Sure, there have been some horrible mess-ups along the way, but in the end, taking the movies as a whole, they are a priceless gem. Seeing in them re-mastered in blu-ray is a treat.
An excellent set and a welcome addition for any Star Wars fan young or old!

Summary: I wanted this box set for two reasons, to have the original trilogy (well original modified trilogy anyway) and to have the bonus discs. The movies are looking fantastic! The sound mix is really great.
Summary: I will admit this is the first time I have seen star wars. Well I have seen bits and pieces over the years but not a whole episode. So I bought this to be able to see the whole thing in order. So I did watch it in order and I loved it. Jarjar is very funny love that guy.

Summary: Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise that consists of a film series created by George Lucas. The film series has spawned a media franchise outside the film series called the Expanded Universe including books, television series, computer and video games, and comic books.
Summary: What can I say about the most popular films of all time that hasn't already been said? The Blu Ray experience for these films was awesome. What I don't like is every time these films are RE-released, George Lucas adds more or alters them. Lucas, LEAVE THEM ALONE!
Summary: Overall, a great Bly Ray set. Ep. 1 and 2 prequels are still weakest link. My only concerns were the vintage Documentaries transfer was not up to Blu Ray standards. I thought they would be upgraded for this release. The spoofs were okay. However, a few of them were trimmed.
Summary: Still the best way to finally view the movies in high definition (other than television). Obviously, avoid this version if you didn't like the prequel movies. Still, this is a great set to own if you want to introduce your kids to the series from start to finish.
Summary: This set is absolutely great. Many old movies are put on Blu-Ray, but are really just DVD quality. This set is truly Blu-Ray quality. When the original Star Wars movie came out my wife and I saw it twice in the same night, at two different theaters.
