A bit musty, soft on the edges, something not too palatable.

  • Excerpt: I had heard about Sideway years ago and it getting rave reviews and figured why not give it a watch. Well, the Video Quality is just OK...soft on the edges, muted and so-so. The cinematography is decent and there are a few interesting cuts/mixed shots.

In vino veritas

  • Excerpt: Le type même du film qui ne paie pas de mine mais qui finit par vous embarquer totalement aux côtés de ses personnages infiniment attachants. • Summary: It took me two times of watching this and also seeing Hangover 2 for me to truly appreciate this movie. It is a great buddy vacation film as a last horrah. This is a more educated 'Hangover'.

Probably far easier to relate to for a male audience as every guy of a certain age knows a version of Thomas Maden Church's character, but it's...

  • Summary: Alexander Payne injects his characteristic off-color wit into an inspiring and life-affirming journey of two grown men rediscovering themselves. Paul Giamatti and Thomas Haden Church make a great comic duo (Haden Church often steals scenes with his line delivery,) and the film finds a great line...
