  • Summary: Scott Pilgrim is a good graphic novel series. Normally when books get turned into films, it ends up worse than the book. However in this case, the graphic novels are good and the film is excellent.

  • Summary: Scott Pilgram has found the girl of his dreams in the form of Ramona V. Flowers, but before he can get to her he will have to get by her seven evil ex-boyfriends. An epic of Epieness. Scott pilgrim vs the world. this movie flop at the box office and I do not know why.this movie has good visual effect's and the people that just love video games are just going to love this movie.

Not my cup of tea.

  • Excerpt: Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World is a movie I don't really need to review, because user Yojimbo's review sums it all up. It's a movie I was interested to see, because Michael Cera's style is very understated and quiet and I love Edgar Wright. The outcome: a sloppy one-laugh premise, sugar-coated with annoying special effects and uninteresting characters. I think the main reason this film bombed at the box office is because it is very wrapped up in its own little world.

  • Summary: I know it might be wierd, but this is one of my favorite movies. It wasn't hard for it to catch me with the comic-like aspects, the fun rock music, the indie-romance between Cera and Phil, and of course the fight scenes. This movie plays out like an Indie-Video game. Very funny and fun. It is far from Cera's best work, but he still performed as expected, himself. This is a movie I feel everybody needs to watch with an open-mind as it is a little quirky.

Such a great movie.

  • Summary: This is the perfect movie with perfect cast. I don't even like Michael Cera much, although he was fortunate enough to be in one of the most clever TV shows ever. He's become typecast, but this is one movie which breaks the mold. (Or at least it ignores it and does its own thing.) Edgar Wright has also directed the great movies "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz," and he doesn't disappoint with this.

  • Summary: I absolutely loved this movie. The visuals were what stood out the most for me. I also thought that the cast was great, they really played their characters well. The plot was great, as well as everything about the movie.

An Experience Unlike Any Other

  • Excerpt: Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World is not a movie. It's an experience. It's a lot of fun. It's based on a graphic novel (aren't all movies these days?) which pays homage to the classic arcade games that have become relics in the age of the video game console. Scott Pilgrim is very original and creative. I'm also not big on the kind of rock music played throughout the film, but this movie definitely has a killer soundtrack.

One of my faves

  • Excerpt: Most Underated film ever. PERIOD. I'm a huge fan of Scott Pilgrim comics and the film since I saw this film (with no expectations) back in Summer 2010. I loved every minute of it. Not a second is dull and Edgar Wrights direction is perfect. The comedy is amazing and so is the cast. The action is great and the sound and editing could be the best I've ever seen in any movie. Like EVER!
