Excerpt: Incredibly corny, poorly acted, poorly staged, and extremely predictable. This is a big let down, partly due to it being filmed in 3D (I watched in 2D). It makes the scenes look rubbery and fake.
Excerpt: What has been a Halloween tradition since 2004, the Saw franchise and it's Jigsaw character has endured a long run of sequels like the Halloween's, Friday the 13th's and Nightmare on Elm Streets of the 80's. The only difference that sets Saw apart from the other iconic killers, is that his "game" is one weaving story from one sequel to the next.
Excerpt: I own over 20 3d-blu ray titles and they all playback flawlessly on my Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 Ultra software, but Saw 3D plays back horribly and seems to freeze/skip in a herky-jerky fashion. I immediately played back Resident Evil 3D and it played back perfectly. Saw 3d played back so badly I returned it to Amazon for an exchange, but the new disc played back the same way.
Excerpt: To start off, I'd like to clear up some people's doubts about this being the final SAW film or not. This is the final SAW film. There is no more story to be told by the end of this film. Every plot point of importance is answered by the end and to want to know more just shows that some people want to know it all and leave nothing to the imagination. This was a great way to end the franchise. The new actors for the most part were decent playing victims, not the best.
Excerpt: They have to end this sometime...How many times can they bring jigsaw back when he was suppose to have died 2 or 3 movies ago....And now the person they led you to believe was killing, wasn't actually the whole piece...They have let this go on way to long and it isn't gelling with the previous sequels....And my belief is this wasn't the final chapter,,,The ending left it open for yet another unappealing sequel...
