Excerpt: Had been looking forward to Rihanna live at the 02 on blu-ray but was badly disappointed. Good concert but why release a blu-ray dsic with such poor sound in 2012. Information on the cover does not match the content, it says that the concert comes with DTS HD Master Audio 5.1 sound but unfortunately...
Excerpt: Like the other reviewer pointed out, no DTS track even though clearly printed on the label. The audio was so compressed and sounded weak for a live concert. The video was in MPEG2 instead of AVC which was another step down for this release.
Excerpt: As everyone else has noted the audio tracks are horrible not to mention the bit rates are unacceptable for a blu ray release. The video is encoding in MPEG-2, which no new Blu Ray has been mastered in. This seems like the DVD version was put to blu ray to allow more room for video bandwidth.
Excerpt: This concert was spectacular and had a lot of energy, but whoever put this release together should be fired! The picture quality was decent. Wasn't the worst I have seen, but it could have been better! The audio is not anything you would expect from a concert. The label says it is DTS, but it's not.
Excerpt: Shows exactly what the loudtour was. It was full of energy. The video quality is a little dissapointing, but I didn't really care about that, all I cared was the music, and seeing how much fun this concert was again.
Conclusion: The sound quality on this blu ray dvd is very very poor,it sounds as it has been recorded in my dads garden shed. The picture quality does not seem to be of a Blu ray standard too. Not a patch quality wise on the likes of Gaga's Madison Square or Adele's Albert Hall blu rays.
Conclusion: Second go at this as it seems my last review has not been published - this despite having purchased (and returned) the title via Play.com. Have given 2 x stars this time in the hope that the review is published...
