Excerpt: A prince of ancient Persia discovers a mythical blade that can turn back time and uncovers a plot to usurp his father and claim the throne. Prince Of Persia is a Disney financed summer blockbuster that was clearly a somewhat cynical attempt to mimic the success of the POTC franchise but actually manages some success as an entertaining swords and sorcery adventure.
It's the best video game to movie adaptation. But that's not saying mu

Excerpt: I never thought I'd like this movie. I have a soft spot for light-hearted, adrenaline-pumping action adventure like this one. It's nothing original. The script is the kind that tells you the plot. So much exposition dialouge though-out, like we need to know what going from them. This is a escapiest adventure, we just want to sit back and enjoy to movie. Let us figure things, alright!!!! There's some cheesy effects and superfical characters.
Summary: A partially cliched 'Pirates of the Caribbean' style adventure that has it's share of fun action. If there were more use of the 'dagger' and less quick editing and CG, then I may have given it a higher rating. Worth a rent just for attaining an older swashbuckling feel.
Summary: There are some entertaining moments in this movie, for sure. It isn't to be taken serious at all and, sometimes, the cheesiness and hammy acting and set pieces are frustrating. Ben Kingsley is one of those actors who will take any paycheck, good or bad, it seems.
Summary: This movie was far better then I thought it would be. As far as video game movies go this one is bar far the best of the bunch. This movie has a solid plot and solid acting. The pacing of the plot was very well timed lasting long enough to keep you interested and into it but never going on for to long. Are there some cheesy moments?
Way better than I thought. Don't listen to the negative reviews.

Excerpt: First of all, if you liked the Pirates films, you'll probably like this film. You get almost non-stop action, in a costume historical epic. Basically the story is that there's this dagger that is filled with special sand that can, when activated, turn back time to reverse tragic events (such as death) or use that power to rewrite history for your own advantage. Well, the first thing that jumps out at you is the meticulous costume design.
Excerpt: I really enjoyed this one, in my opinion the best movie made from a game yet. One thing that bothered me was some of the camera work, way too fast and on my 150" screen almost gave me a headache during the chases. Otherwise, I fail to see why this only made around 92 million at the US boxoffice (though it did better overseas, the case with alot of movies these days like 2012).
