Summary: The 1st time I saw a trailer for Premium Rush, It made me cringe seeing a guy hit by a car & flying through the air & I thought this is a movie I do NOT want to see. When I saw it at the library I thought Why not? It's free sooo after watching it....
Summary: This movie was one heck of a ride. Premium Rush. okay this is going to be a short review of this movie so let's go.the acting is this movie was good and watching this movie I just what to ride on my bike right now.
Excerpt: Wilee as in Wile E. Coyote (Gordon-Levitt) is a New York City bike messenger whose name and reputation are so legendary that customers ask for him by name. Wilee has a passion to ride, weaving in and out of pedestrians and cars, subconsciously deciding which route to take and how to avoid a wipeout.
Excerpt: Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a New York City bicycle messenger encounters an eager cop named Bobby Monday (Michael Shannon) who needs a package. He refuses the request and the chase ensues for the mysterious package. Without the leads, this would now have been that electrifying.
Summary: I love JGL as an actor so it was sad to me that this movie was so disappointing. I tried to push through until the end but I fell asleep. The characters weren't credible, and I found the drama to be a bit dull.
Summary: Ever since seeing Joseph Gordon Levitt for the first time in 08's Stop Loss i pretty much make a point to see all his films now good or bad. I have mixed feelings about Premium Rush although an interesting premise, something about the film seemed somewhat low key.
Summary: Premium Rush is a chase film about a bike messenger (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who is trying to outrun a corrupt police detective (Michael Shannon). The film does not have all that much that makes it special. It tries a little too hard to make us care about the story around the mcguffin.
