  • Summary: I really don't understand the harsh reviews for this movie. Saw the movie last night with my best friend and we had a blast! The characters thrown in the movie are colorful and lively, there is plot which seems to be a rarity in movies lately (which may not be terribly deep; however, it is entertaining and fun), there is story with enough background to ensure no one is confused but not bored with it, you learn a few fun things through the movie that you may not have...

  • Summary: Have the critics who are giving these bad reviews actually READ any of these books? Katherine Heigl is GREAT as Stephanie Plum and the movie was fun to watch. Let's hope that this undeserved negativity won't ruin the chances that we can enjoy some more of our favorite Evanovich books on the big screen!

  • Summary: Enjoyed One for the Money. One of the better romantic comedies I've seen in some time, and my husband enjoyed it too. I don't understand the vituperation and bad reviews from critics. We see 1 or 2 movies a week & this was entertaining & good fun. Should be rated accordingly.

  • Summary: As a huge fan of the books, I really liked this movie. It was very entertaining. Katherine Heigl was a great Stephanie. For the critics who said she looks terrible (the hair, etc)...that is how the character is written...also the complaints all the shots of Rex the hamster....we fans of the books get it. Rex is very special to Stephanie needed to be included. I hope there will be more Stephanie plum movies!!

  • Summary: Angels: I love movies, and I liked this movie. It is a romantic comedy, and the most important thing is whether the leading man and leading lady work; y'know, the chemistry thing. Well they work o.k. Katherine Heigl is beautiful, and charming, and this role is a little grittier than some of her previous work. And honestly, she looks soooo much better with her dark hair. She looks so more real and natural then when she is blonde.

  • Summary: After reading reviews of One for the Money, I was ready for disappointment. Thankfully, the reviews proved to be wrong. One for the Money IS exactly what I hoped for over the years ever since I got hooked on the Stephanie Plum series. When I first heard the casting decisions, I was worried. No need to stress. Heigl nails the role of Stephanie. Several reviewers I've read said the movie was unbelievable. I had no problem suspending my disbelief.

  • Summary: This movie is just what the books are, light entertainment. A very enjoyable way to spend a hour and a half. Now just because the actors are not who you had pictured in your mind is a normal reaction. My wife and I have read all the books including between the numbers books and enjoyed the movie a lot , it was fun talking about how the actors fit what we had pictured them in our minds but we didn't let that cloud our judgement of the movie.

  • Summary: Preview: ONE FOR THE MONEY is awful in every possible way. It is a strong contender for my award as worst film of the year and we're still in January. Generally, I like Katherine Heigl but she is woefully miscast and so poorly directed that she seems to have wandered onto the wrong set . And she looks terrible, is poorly photographed ...and THAT HAIR!

  • Summary: This was a fun movie. Nothing Oscar worthy, just a fun movie for people who have read the books. Katherine Heigl did a better job than I thought. Fun!
