Marilyn, Jean Peters, and Niagara Falls...

  • Excerpt: Two sublimely beautiful actresses and Joe MacDonald's stunning cinematography are my two (or three) favorite things about Niagara. However, that doesn't mean that the film' core elements are poor.

"She sure got herself an armful of groceries."

  • Excerpt: After recently enjoying the remarkable photography of Joseph MacDonald in the 1956 film, Bigger Than Life, by way of the Criterion Blu-ray, I made it a priority to check out this 20th Century Fox Blu-ray release of Niagara as soon as possible.

  • Excerpt: The movie itself is very entertaining. MM and Niagara haven't never been more sharper than here! This Blu-Ray is CODEFREE and contains a german language Track. Also the Cover is more beautiful/better than the german Blu-Ray Cover/Release. No Bonus-Features (except trailer).

No doubt

  • Excerpt: One of the best Neo-Hitchcock films in chromo-noir vision. It looks great, sounds great and has a pretty good cool fun factor. Marilyn is about as hot as she gets and Joseph MacDonald's three-strip Technicolor cinematography of Niagara Falls is spectacular.

  • Summary: In this semi-interesting film, one of my favorites Joseph Cotten is dashing in this. Marilyn Monroe is sultry and BAD. Bad like in a femme fatale way.
