Beautiful but a bit unpleasant

  • Excerpt: The first feature film by Barbet Schroeder from 1969 is a kind of hippie movie with lots of drugs and nudity. It has a rather unconventional atmosphere, perhaps due to the environment of Paris and the Mediterranean together with some unusual acting. At first I couldn't decide whether the acting were dreadful or brilliant. However, the German actor Klaus Grünberg adds something interesting with his broken English and his rude boldness.
