Summary: I viewed this movie once on cable, and loved it! Wanted to purchase but couldn't find it anywhere...finally found it on e-bay! Thank you! Renee Zellweger "Beatrix Potter" at age 32yrs old single, and still living at home. Her only friends were the character's she wrote about in her stories. Particularly a rabbit named Peter. Beatrix had seen several publishers but no-one seemed interested in her so called bunny books! They won't sell! They told her.
Renee Zellweger is a real charmer as Miss Potter!!!

Summary: This is a finely-crafted, sensitive portrayal of the life and art of Ms. Beatrix Potter the author and illustrator of various childrens' books which incredibly, have NEVER been out of print! I became interested in her biography when I realized that those images from my childhood of beautifully-drawn bunnies in brass-buttoned blue jackets were the product of this woman's rich imagination.
Summary: One of my favorites in my own category I like to call Magical Romanticsm. Good, eh?! Well, besides of being based in the true story of Beatrix Potter you can actually see and live her own "magical" world that produced such wonderful books. Wardrobe and locations were I think superb, it really transported me to that time.
Summary: What I like is a turn of the century movie. I find them fasinating because of the differential from then to now. This particularly provided amusement in the light hearted view taken about the non-conformity and brilliance of Beatrix Potter. I believe Beatrix Potter to be an artistic genius. The chemistry between Renee Zelweger(sp?) and Ewan McGregor (sp?) strikes a very romantic chord.
Summary: I love Renée Zellweger and Ewan McGregor light up in this delightful tale of Beatrix Potter. Renée is a great actress who I loved and lit up the screen in the Bridget Jones movies. Other than Renée, I absolutely adore Ewan in Star Wars, Emma and Down With Love! Beatrix Potter's drawings and figurens are completely adorable!! I grew up hearing some of the stories from my English grandmother. They are soo cute and filled with life little lessons!!!
Summary: I bought this for a family friend because it is just a wonderful movie!! GREAT period piece and a highly entertaining rendition of the life of Beatrix Potter. From her relentless pursuit to find an outlet for her talent to her surprising conservationism, this is a perfect family movie with a message!
A delightful journey into the mind/times of Miss Potter

Summary: Loved the story and setting of Miss Potter. Artfully done: the sets were as detailed and carefully executed as Miss Potter's drawings. A timeless tale of true love, heartbreak, fulfillment, and coming of age. The addition of the animation enhanced our peak into the mind of Miss Potter. I have rented the film twice and purchased one for myself and one as a gift. Probably, will purchase more for other gifts. Highly recommend this movie as a gift especially for females.
Summary: The movie "Miss Potter" is a splendid picture of Beatrix Potter's life. It allows a person in modern times to feel empathy for a single young woman born in the 1800s. Beatrix is depicted by Renee Zellwenger in the film. She is a strong woman that will not marry just for the sake of society's rules. Her mother is very class conscious. Her father is ruled by her mother. Beatrix finds and loses love, then she finds love again. Her love of nature is quite breathtaking.
Summary: I've seen this movie previously. Beautifully crafted film about the life of Elizabeth Potter. Elizabeth was the creator of such stories as "The Tales Of Peter Rabbit and others. However, she was also an environmentalist and modern woman ahead of her time. The movie combines brilliant acting and a wonderful and whimsical touch of animation.
Summary: I had seen the movie at the theater, and loved it. I wanted a copy to show to friends and family. Renee Zellweger is a superb, versitile actress and does an excellent job with her role as MISS POTTER ! I would recommend this movie that is based on a true story to anyone, that is sick and tired of sex and violence in most of the new movies.
