Summary: I have a terrible admission to make...I like Sandra Bullock. I'm not proud of it, but her brand of kooky girl next door charm is quite appealing to me. So sue me. This is a typical example of the kind of one idea formulaic comedy that I usually detest, but Michael Caine's amusingly disdainful gay Henry Higgins plays off Sandra really well, and there are some genuinely funny lines.
Excerpt: Sandra Bullock stars as a rough tom-boyish Gracie Hart, an FBI agent assigned to go undercover at a beauty pageant to uncover a suspected bomb plot. To coach her along the way, the Feds enlist the help of pageant veteran Victor Melling (Michael Caine) who is given the role of transforming the doughnut scoffing Gracie into a genuine Miss America competitor.
Summary: A slight and sweet film - Sandra Bullock looks like she's having fun, and it comes across on screen. Still, it's pretty much fluff entertainment as far as I'm concerned. A nice appetizer, but nowhere near filling enough for a full meal.
Summary: As heavy-handed as this was, I pretty much enjoyed watching it. Sandra Bullock gets good pay for many reasons, not the least of which is her ability to sell a film. Stupid plot, dumb jokes, some good little moments. OK to pass time with.
Summary: This movie is great for everyone! It's pretty silly, but it's so damn funny. This is a very good comedy movie anyone would enjoy not only because it's funny, but because the talented, and charming Sandra Bullock stars in it. There are great, and memorable lines in this great comedy. Bullock is funny, and very good in this movie. I would watch this movie over, an over and not get tired of watching it. Miss Bullock is perfect for the role of "Gracie Hart".
Summary: This movie is perfect for everyone! It's funny and also has a masculine side to it being that Sandra Bullock's character (Gracie Hart) is an FBI agent. If you've never seen it go out and get it right now!
