Lilo & Stitch 2-Movie Collection (Blu-ray Review)

21 June 2013
  • Conclusion: I don’t think this is one of Disney’s better efforts, but I know plenty of people that love it.  There’s some funny parts in the movie and some great music by Elvis Presley and Alan Silvestri, but it could have been better.  The same could be said about this Blu-ray too.  While the video and audio quality veer from very good to okay, the extras are very disappointing.

Lilo & Stitch / Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has A Glitch

High-Def Digest
18 June 2013
  • Conclusion: 'Lilo & Stitch' remains a refreshing change of pace for the Disney company. It's smart, irreverent, and genuinely emotional. It's direct to video sequel is far more forgettable, but the audio and video on both are excellent, making this a worthy purchase, even if some excellent supplements are missing from the DVD edition. It's not perfect, but it is 'Lilo & Stitch' in high definition, and thus is worth your time. Recommended.

Lilo & Stitch / Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch (Blu-ray)

DVD Verdict
17 June 2013
  • Excerpt: With an animation style harkening back to the earlier days of Disney animated features, Lilo & Stitch was a surprise hit in the summer of 2002. Though the sequel fails to totally recapture the charm of the original, the inclusion of nearly every single voice talent from the original means it feels more cohesive. Both films are given the Blu-ray treatment in this 2-Movie Blu-ray Collection, and are better off for it.
