Probably the 3rd Best Action Franchise

Excerpt: This is a great collection of the films. They don't have the best picture quality, but like usual each sequel has better picture quality than the last, mainly because of the year that its made. The audio is really good as well, I can't say how good it is using surround sound, but mono it is good.
Excerpt: in the summer of 1987 a franchise was born unknown to the creative forces behind the dark and edgy buddy cop action film Lethal Weapon. Mel Gibson who was 2 yrs removed from his final Mad Max film, Danny Glover had The Color Purple going for him and of course director Richard Donner fresh from the kid classic The Goonies gave the audience a fun and thrilling that would go on to be imitated and followed by three sequels.
Excerpt: Just picked my set up for $30 and it looks like my HD DVD set..The first LW seems to have a ghosting issue..At the beginning when Amanda is getting up on the railing you can visually see two outlines of her body..Almost like two frames of film over lapping..The same as my HD DVD version..I think these were ported over...Don't look remastered to me.

Excerpt: Lethal Weapon is a classic action movie, one that shaped the landscape of the genre and set a standard for films to come. It's sequel is a decent follow-up and delivers the goods. Parts 3 & 4 continue the fun and excitement of the series and the tone begins to lighten a little. All-In-All, this is a fantastic set of Films that really brought the "Buddy-Copy" concept alive! The remasters of 1 & 2 are phenominal.
Conclusion: These are superb films but the blu-ray quality could have been better has there are parts of the first 3 films that are grainy. which is a shame so thats why im dropping a star. If they can make older films good in blu-ray why can't these iconic films be the same?
Conclusion: i bought this blu ray box set as i love these films, however they are not the director cuts as i expected them to be. yes the picture is brill as are the films anyway but when you release the directors cuts on dvd you should at least give us the full package on blu ray. disapointed !
