Excerpt: I disagree with the 3 for video in the site's review. It's funny how our expectations have changed - 5 years ago, this probably would have been a 5 star video release. I got a huge 65 inch Vizio M series television that I sit 6 feet from, and I saw no issues with video. There are some areas that are softer than others, but for the most part, the picture is clear and detailed.
Excerpt: One of my favorite films growing up. Brings back old memories. We all know the story. Now the bluray review. The video is meh at times and isn't the best but it is acceptable,mind you it is an older release so don't have high expectations. The sound isn't mind blowing like Avatar, again it is what it is. Summary: It certainly is not a masterpiece, but Kindergarten Cop is just fine. It makes for great entertainment and is the defintion of escapism. It is a feel good movie with a funny turn from Ahnold along with some good action sequences. Sure, it is undeniably implausible at times and is certainly not a very good film, but as pure entertainment, it gets the job done.
