Summary: The story is about a former member of Britain's Elite Special Air Service comes out of retirement in order to save his mentor and must face three highly-skilled assassins along the way. This movie has good acting but the film felt a bit eh, I mean the movie lacks on characters and the story wasn't that mind blowing.
Excerpt: A retired black ops killer for hire is pulled back into the business when his friend is held hostage by an oil sheikh seeking retribution against the SAS for assassinating his sons. On the surface of it, Killer Elite is very much an example of business as usual for Jason Statham in what appears to be just another bone-headed but watchably efficient, testosterone-fuelled action thriller.
Excerpt: The image has a very slightly "soft" filmic look to it, but nonetheless delivers an extremely detailed image. I really could not find any faults with the PQ. Audio was also top notch, delivering rich clear dialogue and when the action demanded it, an incredible DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 experience. Sadly limited in extras, we get thirteen deleted scenes, making up approximately 10 minutes of footage, and presented in HD. And that is all.
Summary: Even though a movie is not necessarily bad, sometimes making snarky comments while watching it will make it more entertaining. Killer Elite was that kind of movie for me. At a key point where a third party enters the scene and starts belittling the two spies, all I could think about was, "...he starts MONOLOGUING!" We all know how that pans out. Killer Elite was good with the action and car chases.
Summary: robert de nero , jason statham and clive owen thats 3 reasons to watch this movie , its a good film statham has to kill some sas soldiers in order to free robert de nero who is being held captive . meanwhile clive owen is hunting him down. the showdowns between owen and statham are good. all the actors in the movie are good and work well together .
Summary: Meh - standard action flick with Jason Statham playing the same role he usually does. I did like the scenes between him and Clive Owen, but otherwise, there was nothing here to that made it stand out above any other action film.
Summary: A former hunter fails to save his long-time mentor, he then finds himself doing something he thought he forgotten. *** Honestly speaking, I don't get the story. ***SPOILER ALERT*** So Jason Statham has been set-up right? How? Anyway, this was really action-packed film, a good one. I don't like seeing so much blood in films, but this one is really good in action plus I can't resist not watching Robert De Niro; I'm satisfied on his not-so-little contribution on action...
Excerpt: Synopsis: To save the life of an old friend, ex-mercenary Danny Bryce is forced out of retirement for one last job. Comments: Terribly trite and thoroughly boring. Blu-ray: PQ was very good. AQ was generally good, but dialogue was a bit uneven in terms of level and clarity.
Excerpt: with these three names alone, the movie could do no wrong right? Well not so fast. Killer Elite has it's good points and some bad ones. First off this is a thinking man's action movie. Statham gets in his usual kick your ass moments and Clive Owen eventually gets his smug close-ups and De Niro just seems to tail along and pops up here and there offering little to the overall outcome.
