Summary: Oh dear, i think i must face up to the inevitable i am getting old, i feel this film is a bit like Marks and Spencer's clothes, not sure who their target market is. The film on one hand is very childish but then along comes more adult content, i admit i did fall asleep for a short period woke in time to see Jim Carey meet his maker, result.
Summary: Having not read the original comics (don't rate Millar's writing with his immature, attention grabbing use of swearing, at all) I must admit to enjoying the first film qiute a lot, for many reasons. However, all the positives from the first are ignored in this sequel with dull set pieces, awful acting (apart from the under-used Jim Carrey) and a plot held together with spit and sawdust.
Summary: Extremely primitive and predictable, full of American crap values. Bad acting and stupid costumes underlined by a confusing script of ups and downs from happy happy pancake pancake to senseless violence in seconds. How anybody can even remotely compare this ridicules garbage with the first one is beyond me. Avoid at all costs.
