Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures
Sound & Vision Magazine
6 December 2012
Excerpt: At long last, Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures is available in high definition. After repeated tampering with the Star Wars films, legions of fans have been put off to the point of swearing on a stack of bibles to never give their Uncle George another nickel of their hard-earned ducats in protest. I’m happy to report that there are no such egregious changes to the story lines or scenery here. Swastikas are still swastikas, and Indy still shoots first in cold blood.
Summary: The Indiana Jones movies are fun escapist entertainment, as they always have been, and the Blu-ray presentations are very good with regard to picture and sound, small niggles aside. But the extra features are a mild disappointment to this reviewer. It's not that the material isn't any good, its great, but I've seen most of it before and they've omitted some of the best stuff from the standalone DVDs, not to mention the fact that theyre still holding on to most of the...
Excerpt: A couple of years ago, the American magazine put together a list ranking the 50 greatest film series of all time based on box office numbers and Rotten Tomatoes critics scores. Coming in fourth by grosses and third by reviews, the number one spot overall was claimed by Indiana Jones , The old-fashioned adventurer created by George Lucas and directed by Steven Spielberg has never boasted the glamour and gadgets of James Bond, the vast canvas of Lucas' , or the clearly...
Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures (Blu-ray Review)
28 September 2012
Conclusion: The Indiana Jones films have been often imitated but never surpassed and that’s because they can’t be replicated. The combined imagination of Steven Spielberg and George Lucas and the performance of Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones is pure magic. The series’ heady mix of high adventure, thrills, romance, action, and humor is impossible to resist which is why they are so beloved across the world.
Summary: As I mentioned before, this box set is an undeniable “must have” for any film fan to possess in their personal collection. The film series is classic, the HD production has enhanced the presentation in trademark Lucasarts style, and the hours upon hours of Special Features that are provided are exhilarating to view. Join this adventure as soon as you can!

Excerpt: The Film Since the dawn of Blu-ray, fans have been asking (begging!) for Raiders of the Lost Ark t o come to the format. After years of waiting, wondering and wanting, Paramount has delivered -- and then some. Please make a sizable space on your shelf for Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures . The 5-disc box set includes Indy's four theatrical films and a hearty collection of extras.
Excerpt: Movie heroes come and go, but the really great ones stand the test of time. Indiana Jones is one of the latter. Though armed with a whip and a profound knowledge of archeology, Dr. Jones has been on some of the greatest adventures that we’ve ever seen captured on screen. Played with a sly and eager wit by Harrison Ford, his character is what embodies a movie hero.
Excerpt: The Lucasfilm empire is built upon two rock-solid foundations: Star Wars and Indiana Jones . Both became phenomenally popular beyond even their creators' wildest dreams, inspiring books, comics, toys, games and television programming. But while Star Wars is, more or less, the sole vision of George Lucas, credit for the Indiana Jones series is spread equally between Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford (not to mention such key collaborators as John Williams, Dennis...
