Conclusion: Holy Motors can be praised for breaking the monotony in the life of a film critic, but it is a shallow exercise in surrealism that will disappoint the average viewer for not adding up to anything special. Indomina's Blu-ray provides great picture, underwhelming but adequate sound, and a decent hour of bonus features. While I can't recommend the film, there's nothing about the disc besides the movie to dissuade interested parties.
Excerpt: Be warned: this surrealist fantasia is one hell of a challenge. Like an abstract painting, precious little is explained, and almost everything is open to interpretation. More questions are raised than answered, which will no doubt instigate discussion and arguments after viewing. Sadly, the majority of those questions are just plain pretentious, self indulgent, and weird. It will confound, confuse, shock, tease, frustrate, and ultimately, divide the audience.
