Excerpt: I enjoyed this action comedy. Starring 3 of my favourite actors, Jet Li, Eric Tsang and Simon Yam. I think it has a good enough plot and some funny comedic scenes. I liked the fights and gunplay. I wouldn`t complain, if they made a good sequel to this. Picture quality: Another DNR job by Kam and Ronson. Not much film grain left after the over use of DNR. Some details and sharpness are left, but could have looked better with no use of DNR.
Excerpt: Movie - 3.0 A con man (Eric Tsang) and an aspiring assassin (Jet Li) team up to cash in on a $100 million bounty set up by an aging Japanese war criminal who has forseen his own demise. The movie itself is really goofy. The acting is over the top, the comedy is broad and the surprise at the end isnt much of a surprise at all. The movie's only saving grace is the action. There's a fight scene in an elevator shaft that is pretty amazing.
Excerpt: The hit video game Hitman comes to life on the silver screen. A genetic assign known only as Agent 47 is hired to perform hits all over the world. After accepting a job to assassinate the Russian Prime Minster, Agent 47 find himself entangled web of lies and deceit. Now with the world against him and his trust in that of a call girl, Agent 47 must unravel the mystery and clues of who set him up and why.
Excerpt: Let me start by saying this film is in the top 3 video game movies ever made. (Iron Man and The Dark Knight) They did a good job of writing an entertaining story to follow the character. The video quality is really good and the audio sounds amazing in a surround sound setting! If you like action, add this to your collection ASAP.
Excerpt: Decent movie and above average for a video game adaption. The story wasn't exactly original, but it had different elements to call its own. Plot was ok, actors were pretty good. PQ was very good, the one scene that I remember most vividly had someone jumping out of a window and night while the room exploded behind them. The contrast of the flames agains the black night sky was very impressive. The AQ was phenominal. Loud from start to finish.
Excerpt: You never know how movies based on video games will turn out but in this case, I think it turned out pretty well. The movie was better than I expected and I'd recommend it if you're a fan of the video games or if you enjoy popcorn flicks. The PQ was solid and the AQ was good. It also has some nice extras including a digital copy.
If you're a fan of the games you'll probably enjoy it

Excerpt: I love the Hitman videogames, so this was a purchase for me regardless of the reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. I loved the camera angles that mimicked the game and Olymphant got Agent 47's mannerisms down (I love the hallway walk) pretty well. The story was OK if a little convoluted and I think the chick angle was added in just to throw in some gratuitous hot nakedness (not that I'm complaining), but the violence certainly makes up for it.
Excerpt: Entertaining and fun movie, but like others have said it lacks a decent story. PQ was good, but not top tier...not quit as detailed and sharp as the best I've seen. SQ seemed excellent, but I lack the proper equipment for that. This is worth a rent for action fans, but worth a buy for Hitman game fans. The lead character follows pretty true to the game character in movement, looks, and personality.
