Excerpt: The hit video game Hitman comes to life on the silver screen. A genetic assign known only as Agent 47 is hired to perform hits all over the world. After accepting a job to assassinate the Russian Prime Minster, Agent 47 find himself entangled web of lies and deceit. Now with the world against him and his trust in that of a call girl, Agent 47 must unravel the mystery and clues of who set him up and why.
Excerpt: Let me start by saying this film is in the top 3 video game movies ever made. (Iron Man and The Dark Knight) They did a good job of writing an entertaining story to follow the character. The video quality is really good and the audio sounds amazing in a surround sound setting! If you like action, add this to your collection ASAP.
Excerpt: Decent movie and above average for a video game adaption. The story wasn't exactly original, but it had different elements to call its own. Plot was ok, actors were pretty good. PQ was very good, the one scene that I remember most vividly had someone jumping out of a window and night while the room exploded behind them. The contrast of the flames agains the black night sky was very impressive. The AQ was phenominal. Loud from start to finish.
Excerpt: Entertaining and fun movie, but like others have said it lacks a decent story. PQ was good, but not top tier...not quit as detailed and sharp as the best I've seen. SQ seemed excellent, but I lack the proper equipment for that. This is worth a rent for action fans, but worth a buy for Hitman game fans. The lead character follows pretty true to the game character in movement, looks, and personality.
Excerpt: Hitman was a fine action flick with awesome gun fights and fantastic direction. The story never really developed and the acting was sub-par. The PQ was great with fine colours and detail although I did see a couple of scenes with grain. The AQ was good but didn't stand out. I didn't see the extras. Overall, a decent movie with great PQ and a fine purchase for an action fan.
Summary: Alright, this movie might have 2 different ratings whether you're seeing this because you're a fan of the game or if you're a casual viewer of action movies. This is a review from a fan of the game series, therefore the negative vote. If I was to watch this without any connection to the original material I would probably be more entertained. This is really my problem with this movie (and many other adaptations).
I'd definitely see it again if they paid me 15 dollars...

Summary: It was dull, it was boring, the acting was terrible, olyphant was not believable, Olga was pretty good, the Scottish guy was sometimes out of sync and T-Bag's (Knepper's) accent was poorly executed and sometimes not even there... The action scenes were okay, the plot was pathetic and somewhat fantastical, everything was preplanned so perfectly, oh i'll give them a key to the church in my briefcase because i definitely know that they'll find me, i'll kill the brother and...
Summary: I've played Hit-man and have really been excited to see the movie. At first I was wondering how will they ever pull off the Hit-man movie but after watching it, its one of the few games to movie adaptations that I really liked. Not a perfect adaptation, but the best so far compared to others out there. Though Jason Statham was my initial bet, Timothy Olyphant did a good job with portraying Agent 47.
