  • Summary: A watchable film about a classic film. Decently good but knowing this is a film about Alfred Hitchcock, the creators should have been more risky when it comes to technique and style. Very good performances by the cast though.

  • Summary: This was so BORING! It is a tragic irony that a movie about a film director world famous for not relying on cliches is totally reliant on cliches. Here we find that that *GASP* his marriage is not working, his wife is underappreciated, there's a younger man after her, no one wants to help him make...

Terrific and underrated little film

  • Excerpt: Great cast. Helen Mirren clearly stole this film. And was recognized in many award shows. Anthony Hopkins is not mentioned often for his great performance in most reviews. But he was equally good. This is a movie for any true film buff. Especially if you're a fan of it's subject.

  • Excerpt: Alfred Hitchcock was a unique and dedicated director who took risks when involving himself in various film & TV projects at a time when such ideas or ideals where unheard off. The movie Psycho and its making is of Hollywood legend and this film Hitchcock, spins that tale and a little into the mind...

A great flick any movie buff can enjoy!

Disenberg, blu-ray.com

  • Excerpt: This is A great fiction that celebrates a brilliant director at the height of his career! The cast is stellar and the story is brilliantly told with as much mysteriousness and suspense as the director, himself, brought to each and every one of his films. Highly recommended!

Hitchcock review

  • Excerpt: A biographical drama on The Master of Suspense. It focuses on legendary director Alfred Hitchcock and his wife Alma Reville during the production and history of Psycho. Surely Hopkins did his research with Hitchcock's mannerisms and speech patterns while Mirren was very sincere.
