Summary: After 10 years he is back to kill his sister's daughter, Jamie. Dr. Loomis is the only man that can stop him, but can he make it in time. This movie was way better than Halloween 3, but is it better then the first movie? I can no. The movie does do a lot of things right and some wrong.
Excerpt: Not the best transfer in the world, but this is the best Halloween 4 has EVER looked. If you're a Halloween fan but were skeptical on picking this up, go ahead and buy it. It's well worth the upgrade from the DVD.
Excerpt: Halloween 4 - The Return Of Michael Myers will never compare visually or as a film itself to John Carpenter's original Halloween, but the forth installment does well by itself, even after all these years.
Summary: Is it as good as the first one? No. Is that a fair statement? No. Halloween II did its fair share to distance the franchise from its brilliant roots, and with no Carpenter on board, H4 didn't stand a chance to fully right the ship.
A mediocre film, a mediocre transfer, mediocre audio, mediocre extras

Excerpt: After the spectacular independent smash hit Halloween came a line of disappointing sequels. In fact, the only one I'd recommend was 3, which had nothing to do with the Shape at all. If only they'd went in that direction... But no, apparently the world needs more slashers, so the show must go on.
Excerpt: My personal favourite of the Halloween sequels gets a disappointingly average release from Anchor Bay. As someone who's seen Halloween, and its sequels, countless times I was sad to see the video and audio didn't exactly 'wow' me as so many other classic horror flicks have on blu ray.
Excerpt: I plan to do a full review, but for now I'll just do a quick write up. The features aren't very good and missing is the Halloween 4 documentary, which is a letdown. But I can look past that if we get a great release in terms of audio and video.
Excerpt: I want to start off by saying this, I have owned both copies of 4 & 5 on Blu Ray, released in Germany, since May 2012. The state of the video of these Blu Rays, made by Intergroove definitely left much to be desired in terms of video.
