Excerpt: My feelings on Frozen are mixed. The movie is seemingly the perfect Disney Princess movie, with all of the carefully laid out good messages and role models that parents have been craving lately, but I’m not quite buying it.
Fantastic picture and sound but bad songs and silly story
22 April 2014
Excerpt: Disney cartoons these days just do not seem to have the magic of many of their earlier creations. Technically this is a flawless disc but the content is another matter. The story failed to drag me in and the songs were pretty dreary to my ears. Not a decent tune anywhere just cheap crooning.
Excerpt: I had no desire to see this movie when I saw the first teaser trailer last year. All the characters looked like the ones from Tangled, and it just seemed like one of those pointless Disney films that everyone was going to end up forgetting about in two weeks.
Excerpt: Synopsis: Since childhood, the newly-crowned Queen Elsa has sought to control the powers of ice and snow with which she was born by isolating herself from everyone, including her sister and best friend, Anna.
Summary: What more do you want? It's cute - beautiful animation, lovable characters, fun songs. It's always charming and sustains a strong heart within its center. It's good to see modern animated gems that don't have Pixar's name on it (although this is traditional Disney).
Summary: "Frozen" is a solid Walt Disney movie that is fun for the entire family. Gets better as it goes along after it turns away from boring, drawn out pop songs to more action towards the end. In addition, the animation and 3D effects are first rate, as would be expected from a Disney production.
Excerpt: 'Frozen' is Disney's latest non-Pixar outing. All of the Disney animation criteria can be checked off the list for this entry: impressive visuals and music, good comedic moments, upbeat characters, fairy tale setting, complete kid friendly atmosphere. Every aspect is done very well.
