Excerpt: My feelings on Frozen are mixed. The movie is seemingly the perfect Disney Princess movie, with all of the carefully laid out good messages and role models that parents have been craving lately, but I’m not quite buying it.
Summary: This ranks up there with some of my favorite Disney films - and the main reason is that it feels like "classic" Disney again - the music especially - and it balances heart with humor - with memorable characters to boot. It also rivals anything PIxar has put up in the last few years.
Excerpt: Frozen just blew in popularity these past few months now people can finally own this sucker on Blu-Ray. I will tell you I never liked this is movie. There is nothing bad about it but there is nothing good either. The Video Quality is good and crisp while the audio is well done too.
Fantastic picture and sound but bad songs and silly story
22 April 2014
Excerpt: Disney cartoons these days just do not seem to have the magic of many of their earlier creations. Technically this is a flawless disc but the content is another matter. The story failed to drag me in and the songs were pretty dreary to my ears. Not a decent tune anywhere just cheap crooning.
Excerpt: My grand-daughter and I watched Frozen together. We loved it. The color and sound were perfect. The story has a nice pace and kept her entertained, since she is only four years old. We watched the Blue-ray, there were no problems.
Excerpt: For those looking for the 3D version of Frozen, I ordered it from Amazon UK. It was released on March 31st and I received it a few days later. The 3D version is region free (played fine on my PS3), and looks great, apart from occasional ghosting in a few darker scenes.
