Summary: A school holidays time waster for the older kids, wouldn't recommend taking your younger kids to it. While the Sexual references may go over their heads, the swearing won't. I expected more from the dance scenes, and while i went in to the Cinema expecting little, i still came out disappointed.
Summary: Why Oh why , I ask. And more importantly why do people go and watch remakes? I can (sort of) understand when foreign films get remade by americans (the poor buggers can't read, you see) but Hollywood hit being remade by Hollywood, what is that about ? The answer is money, money, money ! Thank god, there's plenty of creative film makers out there that do not make movie with purely financial intent.
Same film different decade. There's always time to cut loose

Conclusion: A remake already ? I remember seeing the original with my girlfriend at the Cresent cinema in Ponterfract way back in 1984..... Oh wait I guess it's time for a remake. I don't mind remakes if they are respectful or add something new to the original. This remake is respectful and although adds little to the original story it's always respectful.
Conclusion: i am a sucker for a remake of a classic movie and i really enjoyed this, the dancing talent out ways the acting talent but it is such a feel good movie. i find it hard to sit still every time i watch it, Julianne hough is fabulous!
