A More Realistic Review

Excerpt: First , before everyone starts attacking me for this review, I just want to say that this release is still fantastic, just a notch below perfect, and I'm just saying why I don't think that it's perfect. At times, it seems as though the main characters in the scenes are the only things in HD, the backround either being a bit cluttered with pixelation or just not transferred into HD.

Excerpt: As an avid-fan of the Final Fantasy series, i grew eager to watch this when it came out in 2005 (here in the UK at least). I was overall satisfied with the film, but i really felt some things very missing. The film's direction was a bit confusing and felt like a B-movie at times. Overall, a lot of things were missing and if i had to rate the first cut, i would've given it a 3.5.
Excerpt: The complete version of Advent Children surpasses its little brother with a greater depth of storyline and character development. For those not familiar with the Final Fantasy VII storyline, Cloud after the fall of Sephiroth runs a delivery/security service allowing him plenty of time to himself, much to chagrin of those near to him.
Excerpt: Okay, I’ve never played “Final Fantasy VII” before, so at first, the movie made very little sense to me. Somehow, though, watching this “Complete Edition” seemed a lot less muddled and made better sense. Or maybe I’m just paying better attention now. Whatever the case is, this film is pretty darn good. The story and characters may be a bit confusing for folks like me, who aren’t familiar with the original computer game.
Excerpt: The original release of this movie is already very good, a day and night different compare to Final Fantasy Spirit Withing which has nothing to do with final fantasy. Square Soft basically going back to what fan really wanted to see, which they did. The PQ and SQ is top notch, not the best for 3d animation, but definite still top, i wish they would use DTS Master over Dolby HD, for more dynamic sound. But still is very good 5 star sound with dolby hd in this case.
"Reunion" with one of the best animated releases ever!

Excerpt: I remember playing “Final Fantasy VII” and having a great time. The game was truly groundbreaking on so many levels, even if the graphics don't hold up quite as well today. Watching “Advent Children” on the other hand is like seeing a long lost cut scene from the game come to haunting visceral life. Even if you're not a fan of video games, animé or computer animated films; any hard core action fan owes it to themselves to give this movie a try.
Excerpt: Just finished watching FF7: Advent Children "Complete" on blu-ray and I must say the most excited I've been for this film since the original. The 26 min of additional footage was amazing, tied more of the story and background together especially for Denzel. And Sephiroth's battle more intense and more violent/bloody. Even had my wife yelling "ZOMFG!! Freaking amazing!!!
FFVII:ACC is the definitive version of a CGI masterpiece

Excerpt: Final Fantasy is, for the most part, a household name if you have even the slightest interest in video games. Final Fantasy VII, along with a couple others, stands among one of the greatest games ever made, and that is no overstatement. With that in mind, there is plenty of reason for Square-Enix to keep doing spin-offs and the sort for this installment. When FFVII: AC first came out in 2005, it was a huge hit.
