Summary: Moving on from the last film there is more of the same formula with fast cars and terrific stunts - so it certainly doesn't disappoint. The 'family' come up against an extremely clever and dangerous man called Shaw. He plans to use his power to take control. However he always seems to be on step ahead. A lot of the action sequences are filmed in London which looked very 'cool' in this film. It made a change from the usual US cities.
Excerpt: "Ride or die remember?" More believable action than 5, more emotional than the rest and the best bad guy for the franchise. The production of Fast & Furious goes to London. Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) reunites with his team (Brian, Tej, Han, Gisele, Hobbs and Riley) and shows to Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) a picture of Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), which he believes is alive.
Excerpt: Watched this the other day and wasnt a bad film really. Does make you realise in the end that maybe Tokyo drift actually happens after the fast and furious storylines. All the cast are back with a surprise appearance from Letty who apparently didnt die and works for the baddies. Great appearance from Dwayne 'the rock' Johnson who always likes to kick butt!!
Conclusion: Great film although from 2 extremely bad actors (Diesel and Johnson) and some very far fetched action scenes like the other guy said would be totally impossible. Fun movie with loads of funny bits.
Summary: Its got fast cars, boobie ladies & a bit of a storyline. Thats what I went into the screening expecting so I wouldn't be disappointed, & I wasn't :-) It delivers just what it promises, dont come out of this feature disgruntled about this & that, unrealistic etc, it is what it is. All the old cast were there, Brian, Toretto, Letty, Piglet, Spongebob, and Jason Statham, so it was just like the other 5 in that respect, got a good forumla that works.
Summary: I'm not a huge fan of this sort of thing, in fact I didn't see the first one until after the first four had come out. It was nothing to write home about and as 2,3 and 4 were critically panned I decided not to bother with them. However when I noticed five was getting food reviews I decided to risk it and I felt well rewarded and confident enough to see this latest one once it also got good reviews.
Summary: "The Fast And The Furious" franchise has been a surprising beast to many. Producing commercially successful films since 2001, the series has reached number 6 and appears to be gaining more speed instead of slowing down. Which is fitting, considering the franchise name. "Furious 6" picks up where "Fast 5" leaves off, with a race between series stalwarts Dominic Toretto (Franchise favourite, Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker).
