Summary: This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Fanboys: 5 out of 10: The back-story behind this film is much more interesting than what appears on the screen. It seems in a galaxy far far away the evil Harvey “Darth” Weinstein wanted to cut out the main plot of this movie. (Kid dying of cancer wants to see Star Wars Episode One before he dies.
Summary: I love this film I remember waiting so long for this to come out and at times was thinking it was never going to get made. Back then I wasn't really into looking up movie news so I really didn't know why it kept getting pushed back. I was working at Blockbuster at the time and it just showed up one day so I grabbed me a copy. Once I got off work I went home and watched it immediately loving it of course.
Even with William Shattner and other Sci-Fi Stars this Movie Fails

Excerpt: Geez... I Love BOTH Star Wars AND Star Trek both TO DEATH! I follow all of the Star Wars movies and all of the Star Trek episodes and movies old and new, especially Enterpirse and the newest movies. I also loved the newer Star Wars movies when many didn't like them? That's how much I LOVE Sci-Fi and these franchises. Although... This movie Blows is all I can say! Bought this on a blind buy sad to say, thought by the title and cast this would be awesome, but whoops.
Summary: Fanboys is an extremely overrated comedy, about four friends, who decide to break in to George Lucas's home, in order to steal a copy of Star Wars: Episode 1, six months before it hits theaters. The movie was very well reviewed and had a big word of mouth following, and being a huge Sci-Fi fan, I couldn't wait to see it. The story however was extremely weak and filled with cliché Star Wars jokes. It was predictable, done, and lame.
Summary: This tribute to Star Wars is so much fun. 4 nerds are trying to see the new Star Wars moive before it comes out in cinema. But I think this movie is not for everyone. So descide: are you a little bit a Star Wars / SciFi nerd but you can laugh about this stuff? Than watch it!
Summary: I don't quite understand the dislike for fanboys, maybe it's like marmite: you either love it or you hate it. Maybe to get a lot of the jokes and feel... to even empathise with the characters plus their actions you need to be similar to them, which for many may be a problem as not all of us a militant Star Wars fans.
