Hilarious

  • Conclusion: Not being a Star Wars fan, wasn't expecting to enjoy this one. But fortunately, the Family Guy'ness is enough to make you laugh the whole way through. Also, the three play idea is great! Bought this, took it round my mates only to remember he had a DVD player - no issue!

Not in widescreen

  • Conclusion: The blu ray is not in widescreen, it is in 4:3 format which for a blu ray, is pretty poor. I tried to change all the modes on my samsung widescreen to accomodate the picture, but to no avail.

  • Conclusion: This is indeed a fantastic sequel to the original family guy star wars feature length episode! The animation has improved so much and looks awesome! The hoth battle with the AT-AT's is really good and very funny; there are so many good gags that will have you crying!

Funny but poor... contradiction I know!

  • Conclusion: The episode itself is pretty good... I wouldn't say it is the best I have seen from the Family Guy series, but still a good watch. For a Blu-Ray though there are some downsides... firstly it is not in widescreen... bad!

4:3 is a the real dark side!!

  • Conclusion: I cannot help it but think about how bad that screen looks when your watching your HD version in a box setting 4:3, not one bit of it distracted me from forgetting this while watching.

Great Family guy - bad blu-ray!

Kencoseller, play.com
25 January 2010
  • Conclusion: The programme itself is great and very funny in true family guy style - but as a previous reviewer stated you can not even zoom in to make this widescreen which is very poor indeed! especially for a blue-ray.
