A Great Break

  • Excerpt: What I mean by "A Great Break" is that, this is a great movie to watch if your having trouble to pick out what to watch or your just tired of all the action shooters you have on your shelve. (Like me). What I really love about this film is that it is something "new" and "different" for a change for both movies and Will Ferrell.

  • Excerpt: I must say that I loved Stranger than Fiction. It was a fantastic movie and it showed Will Ferrell doing the complete opposite of comedy. Now we have Everything Must Go. About a man who loses is job and wife and battle alcoholism. The movie is fantastic!!! Will Ferrell did an amazing job! The picture was really really good!!! Colors popped in every scene!!! Audio was good but I watched the movie in my bedroom without surround sound. Overall: I say rent it or buy it!!!

  • Excerpt: Good movie--Replay value 0...Will Ferrell played a good part and shows how alcoholism can affect jobs, marriages, etc..from the previews, it seemed like it would be a comedy, but it wasn't...Worth a rental anyway.

"Everyone must buy..."

Tyler, Mighty Ape

  • Summary: When you pick up a Will Ferrell film you expect moments of extreme laughter, cheap, ashaming laughter. This film is different, it tells a very real story of someone that has their whole world crash down around them. It is a beautifully written piece with splash of wit, and great humility – delivered by an actor that is not reknown for his somber performances. Overall, more than expected, it is a great film.

  • Conclusion: the film is advertised as a comedy, to be honest i would describe it as rather sad, telling the tale of a once 'top-notch' salesman who because of his alcohol adicition and a female collegue's accusation against him, 'nick porter' loses his job. upon returning home all his treasured possessions are out on the lawn, the home's locks are all changed, his wife has kicked him out.
