Excerpt: Olive (Emma Stone) creates some lies about her sexuality and becomes this way popular.... I did not expect much of this movie expect much of this movie but a funny ride. And so it was. Not something extraordinary but still good and entertaining. The direction is perfect but the story is really, really weird. Still the movie was not bad. Emma Stone delivers a splendid performance and the rest of the cast does so too. The characters were all good explained and developed.
Summary: Easily one of the worst I have ever seen. I never turn a movie off halfway through. I dd with this one. I was not and am not curious to see if it got better. This movie has literally tarnished my interest in Emma Stone movies. Her voice gives me panic attacks now, after having to here her narrative more than any other dialogue. BURN IT! BURN IT! SEND IT TO HELL!!!!
Excerpt: Olive Penderghast (Emma Stone) lies about her sexuality to her best friend Rhiannon (Alyson Michalka). A religious Marianne (Amanda Bynes) spreads what she overheard between the conversations of Olive and Rhiannon. Todd (Penn Badgley) doesn't believe what people say and gets close to Olive. Soundtrack was upbeat and direction was splendid. Emma Stone did a fabulous job, which made the film interesting. Humor was spot on despite the thin plot.
Summary: well first off i will say that i did kind of like this movie and found it hilarious at first but then they got to where all they where talking about was sex amd making fun of rhe the religious girl who i thought was just there to insult christians 'sutch as myself ' amd i found the movie very hard to enjoy from that point on i mean dont get me wrong i get that sex was suposed to be a major plot in the movie and all but my god that was just way too mutch sorry if you...
Excerpt: Emma Stone stars as Olive, a good girl who is almost completely unnoticed at school. That all changes when she's coerced into fibbing to her best friend Rhiannon about losing her virginity to a guy she made up. Her white lie is overheard by stuck-up Christian snob Marianne (Amanda Bynes) and it soon spreads like wildfire around school. Suddenly, she's the school slut.
Summary: Emma Stone is a talented comic address and her likability and comic timing anchor most of the film. My only gripe is the narrow-minded and cookie cutter portrayal of Christianity in the film. At times, though I understood the device being used, the narration got a little talky and expositional. As a whole, a lot better than I expected.
Summary: "Easy A" is a funny story of Olive (Emma Stone) who lied to her best friend and finds herself lying to everyone on her school. A comedy film featuring a high school girl saving her reputation. I must say that this is indeed an Awesome film! A very funny plot everyone will surely enjoy. Each and very character entertained me to the fullest! No single scene failed to make you smile, if not laugh. =D Very funny. Great comedy. And extremely AWESOME!
Summary: This was just a another stupid "chick flick." I can't believe that these types of movies are what my generation watches now. This movie is about a nerdy girl who pretends to lose her virginity so she can become popular, it was exceedingly boring. I thought the actors were below talented. I must say that the only funny scenes were when Emma Stone's parents where in it.
