Excerpt: Honestly the picture quality is one of worst I've even seen. Being a relative old movie is no excuse to do some improvement in Blu-ray transfer. I agree with dprofitt86, if you got the DVD you're fine, don't order the BD.
Better than the DVD but has a bit too much noise and clarity issues.

Excerpt: An admitted aficionado of Brian De Palma's talent as a film maker and writer, "Dressed to Kill" is only one of my favorites. I was excited to hear of ArrowFilms releasing DTK on Blu Ray and waited with anticipation to receive my copy. While the disc is an improvement of the previous DVD release, it still has some PQ issues that I feel fall a bit short of how good this film can and should look. Many scenes are blurry/fuzzy and lack detail.
Excerpt: When "DRESSED TO KILL" came back in 1980, I saw THE CENSORED VERSION in Japan. I fell in love with its cinematography. As for this blu-ray release by MGM/20th Century Fox is a big disappointment for me. The framing and color correction are sort of mixed bag. 1) Framing The entire frame is shifted to the left. A good sample will be in 2 shots of Michael Caine and Keith Gordon in the detective's office. In standard dvd, you can see the entire M. Caine face.
Excerpt: I saw this movie for the first time and I have to say what a movie! Solid writing, acting and the direction/editing/cinematography is top notch! This is basically a Dario Argento/Alfred Hitchcock movie directed by DePalma and what a treat. Pick it up guys!
Summary: Brian De Palma's bloodier revision of Psycho get's a new Blu-ray release from Arrow Films out as the release the director intended worth buying for the film and the interviews with then wife Nancy Allen who still looks pretty good.
Summary: Arrow Video have done it again. One of their finest releases thus far. The classic 1980 De Palma classic. Featuring a fantastic transfer and excellent audio, Pink Donaggio's score has never sounded better. Plentiful extras thrown in incl interviews and comparisons to previously cut editions. Buy it now!
