One amazing blu ray!

Excerpt: One of the best blu rays ever. The movie itself, Alice In Wonderland, is a great sequel to the original. The story is great and the acting is very good (didnt think much of Anne H though). The overall feel is great. The visuals, oh the visuals. God they are amazing. They just look spectacular! The colours are beautiul and the epic costumes just look beautiful with the epic quality! 5.0! The audio is great aswell, and sound very nice.

Excerpt: This movie is visually and amazingly perfect, I have never seen any restoration so pure, so amazing, so wonderful. what can I say, It's Wonderland the extras are fun! especially that wonderland comparison. the only argumet I have is that this movie, and blu ray is too good to not exist as a Vault movie. Personally I would like to put this in the Vault myself. I know I will!
Excerpt: Tim Burton is one of my absolute favorite film makers and this version of Alice in Wonderland is quite spectacular. The CG is well done and the performances are superb, except for one notable expection. Anne Hathaway while being a lovely actress was the worst possible choice to play the White Queen. Her performance made almost all the scenes she is in painfull to watch. A better selected actress would have made this movie fantastic.
Excerpt: Like many other Disney Classics such as Fantasia, Bambi and Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland was not a smash success when it premiered in 1951. Adapted from the famous books from Lewis Carroll, the movie has an inmense challenge to please fans of the books and moviegoers in general. While it failed in its initial run, Alice has now grown in popularity and now it is regarded like a Disney Classic with some of the best animation that had ever come from the studio.
Excerpt: I went to see Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland the day it opened in theaters. I'm a fan of Burton films and I waited a long time to see this film. I wasn't dissapointed. The visuals are gorgeous and really creative, Wonderland is in one word "fantastic", the characters blend effortessly in the Wonderland scenery (sorry Underland). The plot is predictable but the performances of the characters make this a truly engaging experience.
Excerpt: Alice in Wonderland (animation, fantasy, family, musical) Directed by Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson and Hamilton Luske Starring the voices of Kathryn Beaumont, Ed Wynn, Richard Haydn, Sterling Holloway Celebrating its 60th anniversary, Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland looks perfect on Blu-ray. The movie was nominated for one Oscar (best score) and contains a number of songs, as well as having a strong musical presence throughout.
Excerpt: Everyone's seen this movie so I'll spare the summary. The picture remaster is astounding. Looking completely different than the VHS and DVD versions. Colors are brighter and detail is clear. Sound is as amazing as it will ever be. Extras are many. Overall excellent transfer, as always from disney.
The Wonder of Alice in High-Definition................................

Excerpt: Walt Disney's treasured classic animated films continue to find new audiences with each new generation and as often as Disney home video can re-master and re-issue it's entire catalog of hits. Alice in Wonderland is no exception. The feature presentation is a stellar look at what "old" movies can look like in HD. Audio is also mixed well from the original 2.0 channel to a nice and comfortable 5.1 or even the dare I say re-mastered original audio track.
Excerpt: I Just picked this up today.Wow It is AMAZING how they can turn films into Hi def for BLURAY. This is one of my FAVORITE disneY films.I was watching the dvd before i bought this. Really eye candy.I can watch this over & over. The extras are a bonus too. Bought this at best buy $19.99 Plus i had the $10.00 coupon from disney rewards. $10 FOR A BLURAY WHAT A DEAL.
Excerpt: I agree wholeheartedly with the first reviewer. This is a glorious restoration job. It 'is' wonderful, that technology can restore these films to their pristine best. I recently bought the 'Red Shoes'(1947) and was left stunned by what the tech experts have done to it as well. Alice in Wonderland and the Red Shoes are my standout blu-rays to date. Check them out!!
