Solid PQ and AQ from Arrow Films!

Cinemalord86, blu-ray.com
4 July 2011
  • Excerpt: This is the first time I've seen this film and man I didn't know what to expect. This is a solid detective/procedural who done it film noir. The score is awesome and the AQ is strong and punchy. While some facial detail is lacking in the PQ, it's largely due to the fact that the transfer was struck from a dated source, but colors are lush and the overall gritty, grimy, grindhouse cinematic look is still intact which is why I think the picture quality deserves more credit...

  • Excerpt: The Audio is terrific, you hear all details of the Goblin's music. I recomend you this Bluray. I'm hoping to draw a good remastering of Susperia and Phenomena(Creepers) on Bluray.

Amazing transfer

Tav, blu-ray.com
21 May 2011
  • Excerpt: If only all movies from the 70s would have a transfer like this. This is an incredible transfer from Blue Underground, with clarity, sharpness, deep colors, and beautiful contrast (while still having a very FINE layer of film grain). I saw no print damage at all. I thought Argento's Inferno transfer was great, but Blue Underground has made this a staple in how amazing a 35+ year old film can look. I was amazed. Bring on Susperia !

Another Argento Classic on blu.

  • Excerpt: This is another winner from Blue Underground. I only watched the shorter English version (the version I like best) and all I can say is, Awesome! The PQ is wonderful and has great detail and the colors really pop. The mono track is very solid and sounds great. A must have for any Argento fan.
