Summary: At 88 minutes, the movie is not long, it just feels long. Based on the outtakes during the credits, the cast and crew had more laughs then the audience. There are some laughs early, mouth guard and slow motor boat are good for a chuckle, but the movie fails the test of a comedy as it is not funny. The club scene pole dance sequence is an embarrassment to the actors. A very talented cast deserves better material.
Conclusion: Just like Dinner for Schmucks this is the Second big budget Steve Carrell comedy that has left me disappointed. The premise if a couples weekly Date Night gone wrong was ok, but for a comedy it just wasn't funny enough. It had it's moments, but is ultimately just a time pass kind of film. Tina Fey and Steve Carrell were Ok, but have been much better. The highlight was the Cameo of other actors who pop in, especially the hilarious and under rated Mark Whalberg.
Conclusion: Date Night (2010) is an action comedy starring TV stars Steve Carell and Tina Fey. The supporting cast includes Ray Liotta, Leighton Meester, Mark Ruffalo, James Franco, Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg.
Summary: The Trailer for the movie shows all the best scenes in the movie,Besides that the rest of the movie goes downhill. Nothing actually really interesting happens in this film. Wait for the Dvd. Tony RottenTomatoes Movie Critic.
