Excerpt: Enough others have talked about the movie, but what I will say is that it was worth watching. Wouldn't be a movie I would watch again, but I'm still glad I got to see it. As for picture quality, I will again go against the norm and say it just wasn't that good.
Summary: If you like Westerns, Sci-fi and great actors with deep characters then this is your kind of movie. If you only like one this is still your kind of film. Too many films of either genre lack the 3rd quality; a script with actors that really embody their characters and make them unique.
Summary: A movie entitled COWBOYS AND ALIENS sets the bar quite high in how these two distinctively different genres can mesh. For me, i was not able to suspend my disbelief to ever enter in and get "taken up" by this movie. It was just too much of a stretch from the get go.
Excerpt: I actually liked this. I found the concept extremely interesting, I had no idea what to expect from combining two polar opposite genres, the Western and Sci-fi, but overall, this worked I thought. This film is much more Western than Sci-Fi, and I think that one of the best things about it.
