Summary: Cockneys Vs. Zombies is a classic B movie material. I especially loved Richard Briers with a zimmer frame being chased across the lawn by the Zombies, brilliant. Not a thinking mans film by any stretch of the imagination but worthy time killing piece of entertainment.
Summary: Cs. Vs Zs. is a great way to spend 90 minutes. Althought I'm a Kiwi, I've always loved Cockney humour. There are plenty of laughs, all hanging the improbable and crazy theme of a bunch of a bunch og Cockney wideboys, and girls, tackling an invasion of zombies. All done at a frantic pace - well, except in one hilarious scene - but I don't want to be a spoiler. Cs. Vs Zs.
Conclusion: Another brilliant British horror gem with plenty of laughs, if you dig films like snatch and Shaun of the dead this is both combined, all the classic British potty mouth humour you expect especially from Alan (Brick top) Ford who is such a character as usual, the rest of the cast is great too all have a fun part to play, there is plenty of original and very funny moments, the film has a pretty decent budget too with a great open title sequence and some good effects, you...
Conclusion: Wasn't expecting much from this, but was pleasantly surprised, it is what it says on the can. Alan ford is basically Brick top again and he's great. Honnor Blackman as a cockney? Plus Richard bryers, great cast.
Conclusion: Great film providing you do not take it seriously as they the film makers clearly don't, they just have fun with it. I laughed most of the way through the film, and when I wasn't laughing I was amazed at the gore and violence. While not exactly ground breaking, the FX were decent, considering, they probably only had a miniscule budget.
Summary: A hilarious film with plenty of gore and spoofs to keep you laughing. Cockneys at their best with the stereotypical mannerisms you come to expect used on the unsuspecting dead. Zombies beware the east end of London won't go down so easily.
Summary: We all really enjoyed this film and was great to see the older generation of stars in an up to date film as most u have never seen them act so out of the blue lol. Im now teaching my kids cockney rhyme n slang as they are hooked on the Easetend accent even more than before.
