Zantetsuken, blu-ray.com

Harrison Ford as Harrison Ford - yet again

penguin, blu-ray.com
24 October 2009
  • Excerpt: I dont think Harrison Ford can act. Rather like John Wayne he is always just himself. This is a typical Ford movie in that regard. The rest of it is pretty good althouth the storyline credibility is a bit over the top here and there. Red October has better actors so wears its improbailities better.

Solid Harrison Ford Flick

vegeta88, blu-ray.com
17 June 2009
  • Excerpt: This is a pretty darn good movie and one of the more solid films Harrison Ford has done; which is saying something. This was a blind buy for me and it was worth every penny. While the film is not a big action epic, the tension remains real and grounded in reality.

Clear and Present Danger

Pirate King, blu-ray.com
5 February 2009
  • Excerpt: A great action flick with an impressive story line. Harrison Ford shines in this one. I thought the PQ and AQ were first rate considering the age of the film. High Marks for a very intelligent, well written movie that looks great and sounds great. Highly Recommended

25 August 2008
  • Excerpt: First of all I have to say that "Clear and Present Danger" is my 2nd favorite in all the Jack Ryan Pictures. Beaten only by the Classic "The Hunt for the Red October". Clear and Present Danger begins with the president being in rage giving the order for a black-op in Columbia.

Right behind RED OCTOBER

davcole, blu-ray.com
10 August 2008
  • Excerpt: I've now seen all the Jack Ryan films and i'd grade the video right after HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER. While sharpness is more consistent on this one, there are some moments of digital enchancement which detract from the film.

pangit, blu-ray.com
6 August 2008
  • Excerpt: This is one of my favorite movie! There is something that I am missing when this was first released on DVD. I remember hearing the bird outside of Ryan's house. The scene where the first appearance of Ryan's family (chapter 3?). I turned up the volume of my system and I still couldn't hear a thing.
