WHO DARES WINS!
7 August 2012
Conclusion: Forget the corny SAS series Ultimate Force and also the tacky 1981 movie Who Dares Wins. This series based on Chris Ryan's best selling book is a complelling story of betrayal, redemption and revenge. It's all played out by the interlinking lives of two former soldiers, discharged John Porter ( Richard Armitage ) and Hugh Collinson (Andrew Lincoln).
Conclusion: Everything about this series is top notch! Production, acting, story, locations, but the picture quality in blu-ray is mind blowing. You can see every pebble and grain of sand in the desert scenes!!
Conclusion: Its clear that Chris Ryan knows what he is doing, unfortunately this movie is made om a low budget. The story i good and realistic but the director really must hate this movie or he just sucks. If you look trough 90% of the awful job done by the cast this is one of the best movie/stories I've seen until now. Seriously the director really tries to kill the movie!
Conclusion: Best movie I've seen for a long while. Once started you feel compelled to view the 2 disc's before you can switch off. Full of action & the hero could not have been a better choice. A must see movie......
Conclusion: Opening scene is brilliant and pretty much what happens in the book. However John Porter was homeless and an alcoholic shortly after being discharged from the army. However it's a brilliant series and well worth a watch and with that said it does try its best to stay true to the book. Hope sky keep this sort of thing coming!
Conclusion: Ok, so I bought Strike Back and it is worth every penny! The picture is great and the story line is brilliant and not at all confusing. Richard Armitage is superb. If you like Ultimate Force you will definitely love this. There are three episodes. However the length of time they go on for compensates for this. There is a different part of the story every episode. So stop reading these reviews and buy it now!
