Excerpt: I don't understand where this review came from. The fifth season is not nearly as bad as it's fourth season was, which I think by far was there most clumsy one to date. Where the fourth tried to get too ambitious, throwing in characters left in right while trying to have too many stories going on simultaneously. It was too bold (in a bad way, like spiderman 3). Anyways, the fifth season got things back on track, and I say was on par with season 3.
Excerpt: Yes, seasons 1 & 2 were the best. Yes, there was geek-dom a plenty, sharp banter, pop-culture references galore and Penny always in revealing clothing. But, that could not go on forever. People get older and mature - even these guys. There's nothing wrong with watching this group enter new maturity and become more concerned with relationships than Dungeons & Dragons.
Excerpt: I have to say, I am a bit shocked at the review for the 5th season of Big Bang. I have been a faithful viewer for the past five years and on a weekly basis, I am entertained. Is it kick-butt great tv? I dont think so. Does it provide me with a laugh from the drivel that is most of primetime network tv? Heck yeah! I will continue to come back until I have a reason not to do so and I will purchase this set. Each to his/her own I guess.
