Summary: Even in 2D this movie is a feast for the eyes but the 3D version takes it to a whole other level! Some may complain about the plot and acting but I think its an epic tale! I found myself getting lost in the movie unlike I have before. The 3D is so well done, never overboard with the effects but still plenty of depth that add realism unlike I have ever seen. Amazing!
Summary: The only thing that was blurry in this movie was the text across the screen at time. Other than that this was one of the most well crafted movies I have ever viewed in 3D and I have seen many titles.. 3d Depth was great, with virtually no cross talk or ghosting. No loss of detail from the 2d version, and amazing special effect that add to almost every scene!
Pros: Amazing color, great detail in 3d images, well crafted eye poppers
Summary: I loved this movie. I loved every thing about it. Had a great story. It reminded me of 2 movies I had seen before. It feels like a modernized remake of Ferngully-Last Rainforest or even The Pocahontas movie. Most of my friends thought it was more like Pocahontas then fergully but most of the friends have not seen ferngully. I love the aline aspact that is in this movie. Which gives it a more modern feel and makes it different from those other 2 movies.
Summary: When I first heard for Avatar, I say "This will be the worst movie ever"! So after a week I decided to go with my friends to see it. When it finished I was so impressive that I didn't have anything to say. I'm a fan of James Cameron from his work with Titanic. Cameron wantede to make Avatar before some years but there wasn't the effects that he want to make his film.
Summary: I got this as soon as I found it available on the net. It will not be available commercially for some time and that, of course, means the price is WAY to high for most viewers. I was willing to be taken for a ride but if you do not just have to have it now I would recommend waiting until it is available everywhere. The video quality is fantastic. I have a Samsung 40" 3D setup and the movie was just beautiful to watch.
Excerpt: Sometimes people overanalyze or critic negatively because of one of the quotes from the films characters Mo’at: “It is hard to fill a cup which is already full.” Viewing this again with another version never persuaded any perceptions of the movie. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paraplegic ex-marine meets Dr. Grace Augustine (Sigourney Weaver). He also talks to Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang), head of RDA's private security force and gives orders for him to follow.
